Request Form: Hire a Photographer
The request form below is for everyone (societies/organisations/individuals) seeking photographers for their events.
Societies/organisations/individuals can request preferred photographers by viewing our photographer's portfolios. While UOB Photosoc cannot guarantee a match, preferences will be prioritized for event selection.

Please note that all jobs must be paid, and UoB Photosoc solely serves as a platform to advertise these opportunities.
We do not assign photographers; rather, photographers choose from the advertised list. UoB Photosoc only facilitates the exchange of contact details.
Negotiations, transfer details, further information and negotiations will be entirely handled by the contact person (you) and the photographer. So, please keep an eye out for any emails from bristol.photosoc@gmail.com in your university email inbox!
Please note: As a student-run organization, we cannot guarantee matches. If you don’t hear from us, it likely means none of our photographers are available for your event. In such cases, we will notify you at least 4 days before your event. We also recommend having a backup plan just in case.
UoB Photosoc will not be responsible for the issues and outcomes of any advertised gig.
How you get a photographer?

Submission of Job Request Form
The requesting individual completes the required form, providing all relevant details about the job.
***You may specifically request for a preferred photographer by viewing photographer's portfolio. While UOB Photosoc cannot guarantee a match, preferred photographers will receive priority when selecting events.

Agreement to Terms and Conditions
The society or organization or individual must agree to the outlined terms and conditions before the job can be advertised.
03.
Advertisement of Job
UoB Photosoc advertises the job to its network of photographers, making it available for selection.
04.
We connect and you negotiate!
Once a photographer selects the job, UoB Photosoc exchanges contact details via university email. The society’s contact person handles negotiations and further arrangements directly with the photographer.
Once connected, both parties can share contact numbers (e.g., WhatsApp) for easier communication, only if mutually agreed.
